The 消防局长 Division of Emergency 服务 is dedicated to the service of our community. Our mission is to protect life, property and the environment through public fire life safety education. 

The 消防局长 supports the community by providing:

• Public fire education
• Community risk reduction
• Fire Investigations
• Delivery of the North Carolina Fire Code which includes fire inspections and permitting
• Emergency Management support
• County fire department support and coordination
• Plan review for construction projects
